Lions roar to first place in JV and varsity
The Leone Lions have roared to first place in the standings for the ASHSAA Boys Soccer, junior varsity and varsity divisions.
Leone and Fa’asao-Marist Crusaders are tied with 15 points each but the Lions have the upper hand with an 18-6, differential in goals lead for the top spot.
With the Crusaders in second place, Samoana is third, followed by Kanana Fou, Tafuna, South Pacific Academy and then Nu’uuli Voc-Tech Wildcats.
In the five-team competition for the J-V title, Leone is No. 1, followed by Samoana, Tafuna, Faga’itua and finally, the defending champs, Fa’asao-Marist.
