Le Vasa Outrigger Canoe Club’s Team Le Malu o le Vasa, over the last two weeks, paddled two fantastic outrigger races in the U.S., representing American Samoa  — the 2016 U.S. Outrigger Championships Catalina Crossing, a 26-mile change race that begins at Newport Beach, CA and ends at Catalina Island, and the Pailolo Challenge, a 26-mile change race that begins in Maui and ends in Molokai.
