The Ise’ula o le Moana III Fautasi Team from the village of Fagatogo is focused on one thing and one thing only – One Heart & Working Together – as they emphasize discipline, church, family, and village as the driving force behind the preparations leading up to the race.

In past races, the village of Fagatogo has been patient with their old fautasi, but they still had the heart to participate and represent their colors with pride – however, this year, they bring to faigamea ile tai, a new high-tech fautasi— Ise’ula o le Moana III  — and it’s no joke, as they’ve proven themselves during rowing practice as one of the most threatening competitors in this year’s Flag Day race.
