HOMETOWN NEWS: Two graduate from basic training

PVT. SEAN C. BELLOSILLO

Army Pvt. Sean C. Bellosillo has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C.

During the nine weeks of training, the soldier studied the Army mission, history, tradition and core values, physical fitness, and received instruction and practice in basic combat skills, military weapons, chemical warfare and bayonet training, drill and ceremony, marching, rifle marksmanship, armed and unarmed combat, map reading, field tactics, military courtesy, military justice system, basic first aid, foot marches, and field training exercises.

Bellosillo is the son of Charito Bellosillo of Pago Pago.

He is a 2011 graduate of Faasao Marist High School.

PVT FAIMA D. TUA

Army Pvt. Faima D. Tua has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C.

During the nine weeks of training, the soldier studied the Army mission, history, tradition and core values, physical fitness, and received instruction and practice in basic combat skills, military weapons, chemical warfare and bayonet training, drill and ceremony, marching, rifle marksmanship, armed and unarmed combat, map reading, field tactics, military courtesy, military justice system, basic first aid, foot marches, and field training exercises.

Tua is the son of Pulotu and Taumaoe Tua of Fagasa.

PFC PERETISO R. MULITALO

Army Pfc. Peretiso R. Mulitalo has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C.

During the nine weeks of training, the soldier studied the Army mission, history, tradition and core values, physical fitness, and received instruction and practice in basic combat skills, military weapons, chemical warfare and bayonet training, drill and ceremony, marching, rifle marksmanship, armed and unarmed combat, map reading, field tactics, military courtesy, military justice system, basic first aid, foot marches, and field training exercises.

Mulitalo is the son of Rosalina and Peretiso Mulitalo of Vaitogi.

He is a 2008 graduate of Tafuna High.
