Former Samoa MP passes away

A former Member of Parliament for Fa’asaeleaga Number 1 Ti’ata Sili Pulufana died from natural causes on 3 November. He was 48. Ti’aata entered Parliament from his constituency of Salelologa in 2004. He won the by-election seeking a replacement for the former Minister of Agriculture, Seumanu Aita Ah Wa, who had died.
Ti’ata remained in Parliament until earlier this year. He contested the seat in this year’s general elections and lost to Magele Mauiliu Magele, who is now the Minister of Education, Sports and Culture.
