History Day 2014: SHS & SPA take top honors

Naomi Galea’i, Theresa To’o and Eua Matautia of Samoana High School, earned the Overall Winners Award in this year’s Island-Wide History Day in the Senior Division (grades 9-12) that took place Friday at the Gov. H. Rex Lee Auditorium. They also earned the Tauese P.F. Sunia Young Historian Award as well. This year’s Island-Wide History Day in the Senior Division for grades 9-12 finished off yesterday morning at the Governor H. Rex Lee Auditorium with the awards given to the top three places of each category and to the Overall Top winners not only in the Seniors Division, but the Junior Division (grades 6-8) as well. 
 
Here are the top three winners in each category, followed by the overall winners in both Junior and Senior Divisions.
