American football stars add Samoa to NFL players tour

Paul Soliai and Aaitui Isaako are two headlining American gridiron players visiting Samoa for the 2014 N.F.L. Players Tour Samoa next week.“We’re excited to be a part of the partnership with U.S. Embassy Apia Samoa and the Ministry of Education, Sports and Culture,” said Junior Patane, the Tour leader.“It’s being hosted by the US Embassy Apia Samoa.”The two N.F.L. players will be in Samoa from April 2 - April 5, 2014. They will visit several different colleges, doing clinics with the ministry.Soliai, from Solosolo, was with the Miami Dolphins, but recently signed a new contract with the Atlanta Falcons.Isaako, from Apia, is playing with the Miami Dolphins.Patane was in Apia last week to meet with the U.S. Embassy to finalize the plans for the tour.
