Three of the local teens who took part in this year’s AHEC summer program have been taught the basics of first response CPR. The students first watched a video of a real life situation of someone in need of CPR, before they engaged in hands-on activities to practice what they had just learned. Thanks to the program, the students now have a basic understanding of CPR and how to perform it, in case they are ever faced with a life-threatening emergency. [photo: Mark Espirit]
