AMERICAN SAMOA — For Ace American Industries’ fourth annual Holiday Fundraising Project, Ace partnered once again with the non-profit organization, the American Samoa Community Cancer Coalition to help raise funds for the awareness and education of cancer in American Samoa.

The fundraising project followed the same guidelines as in previous years, which included customer participation and involvement.  At the time of the customer's purchase, Ace cashiers asked their customers if they'd like to make a donation to the Cancer Coalition.

With any donation made by the customer, Ace matched their donation, dollar for dollar.  By the end of the Christmas week, Ace had raised $3,557.73.  With Ace matching that donation, the total donation to the Coalition was $7,115.46.

During the month of December, Ace posted Angels on the walls above their Customer Service Department and at their Checkout Areas, which represented the generous donors.

Ace is very happy with the outcome of their fundraising efforts and thanks its customers for their donations. Recognizing that the customers had so many other things going on during the Holiday Season, Ace is thankful for each donation received and fully appreciates the continuous support.

This is the 4th year Ace has partnered with the Cancer Coalition, for a cumulative total of $18,467 in donations collected.

Making the presentation on behalf of Ace’s President and CEO, Ngaire Ho Ching and the Ace Family, was Operations Manager Nadine Taufa’asau, Store Manager, Damien Mackenzie along with several Ace employees.

Receiving the donation on behalf of the Coalition were Board members Representative Taotasi Archie Soliai and Mrs Rochelle Reid.

Ace hopes to continue what has become their annual Holiday Project and looks forward to developing creative ways to help raise funds to help cancer patients in our community and to help similar organizations that do tremendous things for those in need.
