No news on Samoan sailor
There is still no report on the death of the Samoan seaman who was found dead on a cruise ship sailing between Sweden and Britain in June.
Fala Seuifalemua, 36 years old of Fausaga, Safata was on the Italian cruise ship MS Opera when his body was found.
His body was sent home for a funeral service almost a month later when he was discovered dead on the cruise ship.
Samoa Shipping Services (SSS) is the agent which supplies the recruited seamen giving them the opportunity to work all over the world.
According to SSS General Manager Sala Theodore To’alepai they have yet to hear from the United Kingdom (UK) police regarding the death of Mr. Seuifalemua.
He said they have followed up with the police in the UK.
“We still haven’t heard,” he said.
