Here is this year’s Samoana High School Sharks Junior Varsity Girls Basketball team, led by Head Coach Zero Iaulualo (front row, right). The Sharks will be playing in Junior Varsity action this coming Saturday at Samoana where they will be pitted against the Leone Lions and Fa’asao Marist Cougars in games one and three.
Game two will be the Faga’itua Vikings versus the Tafuna Warriors. Scheduled starting time for the first game is 8 a.m.
In the latest Girls Varsity Basketball Division, the Vikings defeated the Cougars this past Wednesday in overtime by a score of 30-25. The other game on Wednesday, which had been scheduled between the Nu’uuli VocTech Wildcats going against the South Pacific Academy Dolphins, was pushed to this coming Saturday to take place immediately after the Junior Varsity games at Samoana High School.
Today's Varsity games are the Dolphins versus the Vikings at Samoana High School and the Wildcats traveling to challenge the Warriors. Both of these games have a scheduled starting time of 4:30 p.m. The American Samoa High School Athletic Association continues to invite the public out to all of these games in support of our athletes. Schedules are subject to change without notice.
