Seven Talavalu chosen to train in Australia

Seven Talavalu players are enroute today to Canberra, Australia to participate in the Oceania 7s academy at the Australian Institute of Sports, Feb. 24- 27. Participation in the elite academy is by an invitation extended and funded by the IRB when American Samoa qualified for the Hong Kong Series.

The rest of the 15-man training squad will remain behind in Apia to train at the Samoa Rugby Union’s High Performance Unit Center at Faleata along with Team Manager Tommy Elisara.
