On Friday, February 7, 2014 at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas, U.S. Navy Seaman (SN) Gabriela Satele successfully completed 260 hours of the U.S. Naval Education and Training Command’s Master At Arms training course.
Gabriela is the daughter of Galumalemana and Nancy Satele of Vailoatai. She is a 2007 graduate of Leone High School and a 2011 graduate of the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV) with a B.A. degree in Social Work.
The Master At Arms (MA) training provides the Navy with security specialists who perform anti-terrorism, force protection, physical security and law enforcement duties on land and at sea.
MA’s are the Navy’s security and force protection professionals. An MA may operate a force protection watercraft, direct an investigation, control a base access point, or supervise a K-9 asset.
SN Satele will be permanently stationed at Coastal Riverine, Guam. Her long term goal is to become a military officer with a career in Security Forces.
