A Michels Corporation crew member was seen here yesterday morning in a hole in the sidewalk in front of the Legislative Reference Bureau and IT Building fence. Michels Corporation was contracted late last year by the American Samoa TeleCommunications Authority (ASTCA) to lay the cable for their Broadband Linking the American Samoa Territory (BLAST).
It was more than a week ago that Michels started laying the cable work from Pago Pago area with the goal for the cable line be laid first in the Bay Area where there are already unground tunnels.
