CEO of Samoa’s Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment dies

The Chief Executive Officer of Samoa’s Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, Taule’ale’ausumai La’avasa Malua has died.

The Samoa Observer says he was 45.

An official at the Tupua Tamasese Meaole Hospital confirmed he died suddenly Friday evening.

The official did not release the cause of death.

Taule’ale’ausumai was a former student of Samoa College and a graduate of Victoria University in Wellington, New Zealand
