Dear Editor:
I was very sorry to hear Congressman Faleomavaega was struck with illness.  I am violently annoyed that some “allegedly anonymous” site is criticizing him during his time of suffering.  What low-down, self-serving, nasty person would stoop that low?
Shame, shame on them and may God have no mercy on their souls.  To criticize the wounded is simply vicious in any culture I have ever dealt with.
I first dealt formally with Eni, and the late Gov. A.P. Lutali, when I worked for this newspaper in 1978 about the bill to create a congressional delegate position. Eni was, has been, and is a good representative for American Samoa and deserves respect for his service.
I wish him a speedy and complete recovery.
