Samoan families in Korea thinking of home

Samoan soldiers from all over South Korea gathered for a Thanksgiving luncheon at USAG Humphreys, the central camp in the country.
Spearheaded by Maj Leuila Alaimaleata and WO1 Shaun Umi, this successful event brought a majority of the Samoan soldiers who are stationed throughout the country to fellowship and to celebrate this past holiday together.
“Although we all wished and yearned to be back in Samoa, coming together as a Samoan Community allows us to feel closer to home,” they emailed.
