The Kiwis have opened their Rugby League World Cup campaign with a high-scoring 42-24 win over Samoa in Warrington.

Manu Vatuvei scored a hat trick for the Kiwis while captain Simon Mannering scored a brace. See highlights below.

New Zealand coach Stephan Kearney was philosophical after watching his side's second half wobble against Samoa.
The Kiwis came away 42-24 winners in the end, having led 36-4 ten minutes after half time, and were given a stern test by a buoyant Samoan side, cheered on by a sell out crowd at Warrington.
