Tongan Prime Minister suffers stroke
Tonga's 63-year-old Prime Minister Siale 'Ataongo Kaho has had a stroke while in New York, the kingdom's parliament was told today.
Lord Tu'ivakano was in New York for the United Nation's General Assembly.
According to Tongan news websites Matangi Tonga and Kaniva Pacific the acting Prime Minister, Lord Ma'afu, told the assembly it was a mild strike.
He gave no other details, but asked the people of Tonga to pray for the prime minister's recovery.
