VFW PRESENTS MEMORIAL AWARD TO WIFE AND FAMILY OF 1ST LT JASON TOGI
The Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) of American Samoa Post 3391 presented a Memorial Commendation Award to the wife and family of fallen comrade 1st LT Jason Togi from the National Veterans of Foreign Wars in Washington D.C. The ceremony took place on Wednesday, September 25, 2013, in Fagasa.
Presented by VFW Post 3391 Post Commander Roy Laulusa, Post Quartermaster Maria Vaa-Igafo, Post Adjutant Cristy Fielding, VFW member Potumoe Sotoa Togotogo, it opened with a prayer from VFW member Rev. Asiata of Matuu.
The presentation of the award is in recognition to his wife and family for their support of 1st LT Togi's exceptional service in the United States military and to the flag of the United States of America.
