Nat'l Preparedness church service for today cancelled
The American Samoa Department of Homeland Security (ASDHS) has canceled today’s opening Church Service of National Preparedness Month (NPM).
The church service was to be held later today (Sunday) at the Futiga Methodist Church but ASDHS said in a new release yesterday afternoon that it regrets the cancelation of the service “due to unforeseen circumstances” but didn’t elaborate further or provide any other details.
“We appreciate your support and ask to join us in scheduled NPM Awareness and Preparedness events throughout the month of September,” it says.
