Manu 7’s adjust to Hong Kong
The travel weary Manu Samoa 7’s players are in the process of adjusting to Hong Kong conditions after a wearying journey to get there.
“The team are all well although it takes times to adjust to the weather and the time change,” manager Fata’ali’i Milovale Moke said in an email Tuesday.
They arrived in Auckland, New Zealand, from Samoa at 2am Monday, spent the whole day there before a direct flight to Hong Kong at 11.59pm.
“No injury worries for the players,” said Fata’ali’i, “our preparations … are good.”
The Hong Kong 7’s tournament starts on Friday.
Samoa has drawn a tough opponent in Pool C first up in England.
