Update on Utulei Beach seawall
Work continues on the new rock seawall at Utulei Beach Park that is being built by the Department of Parks and Recreation.
The new rock wall is about half completed and will be replacing the old wall that was made of wood and coconut logs.
The old wall has been deteriorating for the past few years, with pieces falling into the water, becoming a nuisance for people and families swimming at the beach.
