Two-time defending champions Samoana Sharks are dominating the 2012-2013 ASHSAA Girls season with a perfect, 7-0 record to lead the competition going into its final week.
The top four teams by season’s end advance to the playoffs set for Feb. 26 with the winners advancing on to the Feb. 28 championship match.
At the moment the top four are Samoana, Faga’itua Vikings, Tafuna Warriors and the South Pacific Academy Dolphins.
In 5th place is Marist-Fa’asao and rounding out the six-team competitors is the Nu’uuli Voc-Tech.
The season ends on February 23 with three games scheduled.
In the junior varsity division, the Samoana Sharks are unofficially three-time champions after completing the season with the best record.
Only three teams competed in the division. The other two were the Tafuna Warriors and Faga’itua Vikings.
Following the completion of this competition the girls will prepare for high school futsal while the boys kickoff their 11-a-side season.
