Call for land privatisation in the Pacific
There's been a call for Pacific people to look at introducing more privately owned freehold land.
Former president of the Samoa Chamber of Commerce, Sina Retzlaff-Lima, says most land in Pacific island countries is communally owned, and that can lead to problems.
She tells Bruce Hill that while there's a strong emotional tie to communal ownership, having at least some land privatised is vital for economic development.
