Fiji Sevens Rugby captain and 15's flanker, Setefano Cakau, arrived after training Thursday to the USA Rugby Sevens Headquarters, at the Monte Carlo Hotel. Cakau, before rushing off for a dip in the pool asked what all inquiring Pacific Islander rugby fans need to know; "Where is Monique Salofa?"

I explained that the earring Queen, was in contract negotiations with me and I had to get tough. I told Cakau that for the price of one Monique I got her cousins George Tuioti working the Press Box, Abe Markowitz with camera roving the field and the crowd, her fa'a aiga Canadian Uncle Allan Hamilton working one try line, and her real absolutely embarrassing Uncle Cool Stuff working the other try line.

Guess what Monique? They have penny slots, high limit slots and great Reuben sandwiches at the new and improved Monte Carlo Hotel and Casino.

Fa'afetai tele to the USA Rugby Sevens Organizing Committee for an absolutely top-notch professional venue and media relations.

Oh, and they alerted US Homeland Security in case Monique tries to show up. Yes, Monique will be deported to Savaii until she learns that $30,000 per week and all expenses paid to her is not a trifling little insult.

We are drinking and eating Monique's paycheck in true Coolio style. In fact we are being hosted in the Hilton's "Lennay Kekua Suite" where their motto on the door reads, "It’s all just a fantasy in your head."

Hong Kong in March Monique? Go Manu!
