Captain Lomaloma has been rated to fly Boeing 737, Boeing 767, Dornier 228 and Dornier 328 aircraft. Inter-Island plans to use the fast Dornier turboprops on domestic and regional flight from Nausori.
The new “Inter Island Airways Fiji” will comprise of routes within Fiji, and expand into the regional island countries of Tuvalu, Wallis & Futuna, Samoa, American Samoa, Niue and Tonga as planned for late 2013 / early 2014
As part of their long-term plans to expand and grow in Fiji, and to improve aviation infrastructure throughout the airports they plan to operate, Inter Island Airways (Fiji) plans to build new aircraft hangar and support facilities that will stimulate growth and business opportunity in the Nausori/Suva area.
