VIDEO: LOLO & LEMANU TAKE OATH
American Samoans began gathering before 10 a.m. at the Fagatogo Malae for “The People’s Inauguration” of Lolo Matalasi Moliga and Lemanu Peleti Mauga, Jan. 3, 2013.
The official inauguration kicked off at 11am when Reverend Elder Fa’atape Lavata’i of the CCCAS in Ta’u Manu’a opened the ceremonies with the prayer service. He was assisted by leaders of other church denominations, while Chief Justice Michael Kruse administered the oaths of office for the new Governor and Lt Governor before 12 noon.
