Child killed in Samoa after being hit by a bus
A 6 year-old boy from Australia who was visiting family in Samoa for Christmas and New Years in Samoa is dead after being hit by bus at Faga in Savai’i.
Assistant Police Commissioner, Le’aupepe Fatu Pula told the Samoa Observer the boy was trying to cross the road when he was hit.
He said the bus driver has now been charged with negligent driving causing death.
Le’aupepe adds police are continuing their investigations.
