Little Leage competition continues
The American Samoa Baseball Association is partnering with the Department of Parks and Recreation to open the Fall program for its Little League competition that takes place at the Tony Solaita Baseball Field. Because of the demand from supporters and parents to continue Little League baseball past the summer competition, the ASBA and Department of Parks Recreation opened the Fall program.
This year’s Little League competition has games being played throughout the week and on the weekends. There are seven teams in the Major League Division for 10-12 year olds, while the Minor League Division has five teams. This Fall competition which began last month, will be have a Christmas playoff and championship ending.
The President of the ASBA and American Samoa Little League J. Victor Langkilde, would like to invite the public out to the Tony Solaita Baseball Field to witness the action in this year’s American Samoa Little League Competition.
