Samoan baby to receive med help in NZ
Four-month-old Kereta Pouli will soon be able to receive the treatment he needs thanks to a ‘Good Samaritan’who has offered to sponsor his mother, Tuaauga, while he is New Zealand to get the treatment he needs.
Baby Kereta’s plight was published in Samoa Observer last Friday where his parents sought help from anyone in the community.
Yesterday, the Head of the Pediatric at the Tupua Tamasese Meaole Hospital, DrFarah Fatupaito-Maru relayed the good news.
“We received a call from someone who is willing to sponsor the mother of the child,” she said.
“However they wish to remain anonymous.”
