LBJ hospital rate hike to go ahead beginning Monday

There will be no delay in the implementation of the new rate schedule for the LBJ Hospital.

CEO of the LBJ Hospital Mike Gerstenberger has confirmed that the new rates for the LBJ Hospital will go into effect at 8am tomorrow.

The outpatient rates will jump from US$10 to $20 for residents and $105 for non residents.

A visit to the Emergency Clinic will cost $30 for residents and $130 for non residents. In patient fees will also go up while prescription fees will remain at $10.

The last rate increase for the LBJ HOspital was in 2006.
