With Alofa, Ft Stewart celebrates
Fort Stewart celebrated Asian Pacific American Heritage month last Thursday hosted by 4IBCT. The observance recognizes contribution to the country made by Asian Pacific Americans. Music and traditional dancing was performed by daughters and sons of Samoa stationed at Fort Stewart, Georgia.
Soldiers also received Certificates of Achievement and unit coins from the Brigade Commander and Brigade Command Sergeant Major. After the ceremony everyone headed over to the DEFAC to enjoy a taste of home with a spread of Island food.
Soldiers wanted to send to their Love and Alofa to all their families and friends back home. Thanks for your unconditional love and support during these hard times. Faafetai tele from FT. Stewart, Georgia.
