Satapuala MP and matai plead not guilty

Satapuala Member of Parliament, Toeolesulusulu Cedric Schuster and 17 matai from the village entered not guilty pleas to the charges against them that stemmed from a roadblock early this year in September.

District Court Judge Mata Tuatagaloa presided over the matter.

Six of the defendants in the matter were represented by Tuala Enari. They include; mayor Ga Sakaria, Vaili Mimita, Uikai Samuelu Faleupolu, Muagututia Akeripa, Lasei Sione and Ili Faamau.

The MP is represented by former Police Commissioner turned lawyer, Papali’i Lio Taeu Masipau. Papali’i is also the lawyers of the other remaining defendants in the matter.
