CCCS gears up for Conference
It’s that time of the year again for members of the Congregational Christian Church of Samoa (CCCS). During the past couple of weeks, thousands of church members have been preparing for their annual conference, which starts this week with the Women’s Conference.
When the Samoa Observer visited Malua Theological College hundreds of people were already there to clean and prepare the houses on the compound, which will be home for visitors from all over the world during the next two weeks.
The theme of this year’s meeting is; “Speak Lord, for your servant is listening” taken from 1 Samuel 3:9.
A highlight of this year’s meeting will take place on Wednesday 23 May. This is the celebration of the 50th year since the church’s name was changed from the London Missionary Society to the Congregational Christian Church of Samoa.
