OCEAN WEEK KICKS OFF THIS PAST SATURDAY AT UTULEI BEACH
Ocean Week, started out with a historic nine-mile relay swim last Saturday, from the Island of Aunu’u to Utulei Beach Park, with members of the Toa o le Tai Ocean Heroes Program and members of the Department of Public Safety Marine Patrol taking part in the historic swim.
In addition other events and offerings, such as a fashion show and ethnic foods, including a free Zumba session last Saturday at Utulei Beach Park, during the first day of the Fagatele Bay National Marine Sanctuaries/National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Ocean Week themed ‘Our Island’s — Ocean Is Life’.
