Former Manu Samoa winger withdraws complaints against former wife

Former Manu Samoa player, Muliagatele Brian Lima, has withdrawn in court a police complaint he had filed against his former wife.

Lemalu Sina Retzlaff Lima, the former president of the Samoa Chamber of Commerce, had been facing allegations of forgery and falsifying documents.

The matter related to a business loan she had sought in a bank in New Zealand.

The decision by Muliagatele to withdraw the complaint led to the court dismissing all the criminal charges against his former wife.

Brian Lima had asked the court to drop the matter because of the couples children as well as family connections.
