Business & Professional Women of American Samoa in partnership with the American Samoa Cancer Coalition over the weekend highlighted October as Cancer Awareness Month with a special booth at the Laufou Shopping Center.

The American Samoa Cancer Coalition is running cancer Survivor and Victim stories, under their MALAMALAMA AGA O LE KANESA column, which can be found in the Toasivili, the Samoa News Saturday edition.

GOOD NEWS: The mammogram machine at the LBJ Medical Center is fixed, it was ‘down’ for about a year. You have to get a referral from the Primary Care Clinic, which means you have to go see them, before you can get tested. TAKE THE TIME — GO!!
