The American Samoa Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence (ASCADSV) opened its new office located in Lions Park on Friday, Oct. 5, 2012.

ASCADSV, a non-profit organization, was formed in 2004, and has partnered with many local government agencies in workshops, outreaches, and technical training of police and medical professionals on how to work together to improve services to the community.

According to its printed program, ASCADSV has had a very “challenging journey with zero funding and no permanent office to provide services” to the community.  But on Friday, this dream materialized with the cutting of the ribbon of their very own office amongst the many government offices in the Lions Park.
