Samoa jazercise groups 'Dance to the Music'
More than 180 jazzercise groups from different villages and organisations are vying for the top prize in the Jazz Competition 2011-2012 organised by the Ministry of Health (MOH). The challenge was initiated by Prime Minister, Tuilaepa Sa’ilele Malielegaoi, four years ago.
Deuel Meredith, of MOH says the initiative encourages people to continue with physical activities for a healthier lifestyle. The competition has grown from 41 organisations and villages to 181 groups and organizations. There are 91 groups from Savai’i and the rest from Upolu.
