Polynesian leaders meet in Apia
Polynesian leaders are meeting in Apia to consider setting up a group similar to the Melanesian Spearhead Group. The idea of the so-called Polynesian Union was put forward by the Samoan Prime Minister, Tuilaepa Sailele Malielegaoi.
The idea is for the political grouping to reinforce the Polynesian cultural world.
