Governor to deliver State of Territory Address today

(BASED ON A PRESS RELEASE) —Gov. Togiola Tulafono, as the sixth popularly elected governor of American, will today deliver his final State of the Territory Address before the 32nd Legislature – Third Regular Session at the Fono Guest Fale in Fagatogo. This will be the ninth time Togiola will deliver the State of the Territory address.

In his address this morning, the governor is expected to touch on the state of the Economy, Infrastructure, Education, Healthcare, Security, and worthwhile island initiatives.

In this, his last State of the Territory address, Togiola, as customary, will continue with the plea for a concerted effort to move the American Samoa Government forward, and through working together, will allow the people of the Territory to continue in the ongoing journey to a better tomorrow for Tutuila and Manu’a and especially the future of the children of American Samoa.
