Boy falls to his death in Samoa

A family at Le’auva’a-uta is mourning the death of their young boy who fell from monkey bars to his death, last Friday. Lucky Mikaele, 12, died instantly, his mother, Leonia Mikaele confirmed. She said her son was with a relative at the prizegiving of the Tuana’i Baptism Pre-School when the incident occurred.

Assistant Police Commissioner, Le’aupepe Fatu Pula said the boy was swinging on the monkey bars when the incident happened. “We are investigating the matter at this stage,” said Le’aupepe.
