“A NEW YEAR’S RESOLUTION”
Divine purity and Krishnamurti’s “Intelligence that transcends thought” is beyond human reach; sometimes, the mere ability to dream simple dreams is an indispensable luxury especially at these unpredictable turns.
And as we once again approach that time — nearing another galactic full-circle — in our unchartered journey through time and space, some of us may feel the need to first seek recompense for our imperfections along the way, and second to somehow reconnect with our perceived noble ideals to help guide us through the next phase. This spiritual refueling is sometimes laughed at in common pedestrian stalls as a “New Year’s Resolution”.
Delusional realities perhaps, but an early inducement to “take the road less traveled” fostered by a fortuitous encounter with the incomparable humanity of Sir Walter Scott has indeed “made all the difference":
“DO NOT EQUATE MONEY WITH SUCCESS, THERE ARE MANY SUCCESSFUL MONEY MAKERS WHO ARE MISERABLE FAILURES AS HUMAN BEINGS."
This is the defining counsel — a warning — and a precious reminder for all of us, including the “successful money makers”.
Travel well, and remember little “acts of love” often are the greatest gifts.
