Polynesian leaders are arriving in Auckland for a regional meeting of the recently-formed Polynesian Leaders Group.
The PLG will meet at the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs offices in Auckland tomorrow, but the gathering will be hosted by the Cook Islands Prime Minister, Henry Puna.
The bloc was formed in Samoa in 2011 and last year it met in Rarotonga.
Member countries are Tonga, Samoa, Tuvalu, the Cook Islands, Niue, American Samoa, French Polynesia and Tokelau.
This year, Maori, Rapa Nui and Hawai’ian groups have also been invited.
