Samoa police are looking for a mother who put her two-year-old baby in a sand bag and strung her up inside their family home in Savai’i.
The alleged incident happened after she became upset about the baby crying. The neighbours saw what was happening and contacted the Police
In the Supreme Court this week, Chief Justice, His Honour Patu Tiava’asu’e Falefatu Sapolu, issued an arrest warrant for the woman.
Charged with grievous bodily harm, she did not appear in Court when her hearing was called on Wednesday.
