The American Samoa Shriners recently held their major fundraiser — the Annual Shriners Golf Tournament. It is from this tournament that Shriners pay to transport young patients and their caregivers from both Samoas to the Shriners Children's Hospital in Honolulu.
Patrick Te’o, of Magiagi is one of more than 20 patients with serious medical problems, who will be flown to Honolulu, Hawaii, for treatment.
The treatment will take place towards the end of the year.
For Patrick, it will be his second time around. All operations are free as are accommodations and transportation.
