Manu Samoa received on Saturday a massive financial boost ahead of its match against Canada in North Wales next week.
Prime Minister and Chairman of the Samoa Rugby Union (SRU), Tuilaepa Sa’ilele Malielegaoi announced that the Samoa International Finance Authority (SIFA)would provide $400,000 for the team, on top of $200,000 presented by the Totalisator Agency Board (TAB) earlier this week.
The money takes the funds for the Manu Samoa tour to $1.2million.
Initially, the SRU wanted a million talato meet all the tour costs.
