The Lolo and Lemanu campaign has unofficially adopted a new slogan, “Unite for Change” as it seeks to woo voters who cast their ballots on November 6 for one of the four candidates that fell short in their bid to be the next governor.

The Lolo Facebook page states, “If you are serious about CHANGE, you will join our Movement for CHANGE.”

As I noted in my earlier post on this topic, this topic should best be addressed by legislatures. It is good to hear that you are pursuing that avenue.

Of course, as mentioned earlier, I disagree with Congress' nineteenth century approach to citizenship of people who live within the United States — all of the United States, whether Territory or State.

Manu Samoa’s Team Manager, Namulauulu Sami Leota, says that despite winning over their opening test match against Canada, “a much harder and bigger task awaits for the team Saturday morning (local time)  against the Welsh who ruled the 2012, 6 Nation Championships.

Gov. Togiola Tulafono believes that American Samoa should have primary elections where voters decide the top two gubernatorial teams for the general election, instead of the current process of a run off when none of the teams garner enough votes (50 percent plus one)  during the general election.

TEENAGER ALLEGEDLY ATTEMPTS SUICIDE

A 17-year old boy remains hospitalized as of yesterday after he allegedly tried to commit suicide, says Terri Bullinger, the assistant attorney general who handles juvenile matters in court.

Bullinger told Samoa News that the incident occurred Monday night as the youngster came home intoxicated, and his mother along with other family members tried to keep him calm and quiet, but without success.

The Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC) Program of Leone High School signed up a team this past September to compete in a premier national high school cyber defense competition called “CyberPatriot.” Leone’s JROTC Program is headed up by Senior Army Instructor Command Sergeant Major (CSM) Thomas M.
